Every season brings such amazing ideas for new affordable and stylish outfits. I don’t necessarily mean keeping up with the latest fashion trends but simply dressing in a way that feels cute every day. 👠 Have you ever noticed that when we appreciate ourselves more, everything else seems to fall into place? It’s like that old saying: image, confidence, success. 😌
Anyway, for me, thinking of chic outfits to wear daily has become one of my favourite hobbies. During winter, I absolutely adore layering up and mixing textures, hues, and materials. You see… I have this habit: I always plan my look the night before. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to sleep, picturing all those outfit scenarios (just kidding 😅). But seriously, I couldn’t just throw on any clothes in a rush in the morning. No … it’s an entire ritual of matching, feeling comfortable, and looking effortlessly chic. It’s just part of being a woman, I suppose. 💅
For this post, I’ve selected a couple of outfits I’d personally wear during winter. What’s great is that they’re low-cost too 💸 (because we definitely don’t want to go broke before Christmas 😁). However, these outfits aren’t even 2% of all the fashion ideas swirling around in my head. Who knows … maybe I’ll write another post to share more? 🤔✍️
Let’s see if you’d wear them too! 👀

- Dress to impress

Dress to impress ourselves, obviously. You know, if I don’t like what I’m wearing, not in a million years will I change my opinion just because somebody else liked it. I dress for myself to continue nurturing that self-love seed that can sometimes be so hard to grow. I feel like I’m my own worst critic at times, but I’m working on it. We aim for improvement each day, right? 🤗
So, a pair of blue flared jeans will always be part of my wardrobe. I’ve loved them since day one, and that will I’m never change. Plus, they look so cool paired with black high-heeled ankle boots in winter. Well, I’m on the petite side anyway, so for me, high heels are indispensable. They also add that extra dash of femininity. 😋 As for the upper body, I think a blue turtleneck soft jumper is one of the most handy and snugly options. This style is naturally flattering on our bodies and keeps us warm during cold weather. I absolutely adore plush material … it makes me feel cosy and protected. Tiny bits of happiness in little things = life. 🤎
On top of that, I believe it’s safe to say a black leather trench never fails. So simple, yet so fashionable. Leather gives that impression of power and immeasurable poise. I would simply add some glamorous gold accessories, such as statement earrings or a black belt with gold buckle, and we’re good to go … wherever, whenever. This type of look is immensely versatile. What do you think? 😊
- Girly outfit idea

A girl still needs to be a girl, even if it’s cold outside. Maybe we have a night out or a reunion with our friends, so we have to choose a more attractive outfit. My fashion sense would suggest an all-nude look. This colour is so easy to wear during winter because we simply can’t go wrong. Plus, it will give us that “clean aesthetic vibe. 👩
Let’s start with the shoes. I think an adorable pair of high-heel platform laced-up knee-high boots are the perfect choice. Easy to walk in, easy to dance in, and pretty to look at. We can easily pair these with a short nude leather skirt and some thick winter tights, so we won’t freeze on our way to the destination. So far, we’re in the “cool girl” zone, which is exactly what we like. 🙃
Going up, I would aim for a soft white sweater or a simple white cotton bodysuit. Whichever we prefer, it’s entirely up to our taste. Not too thick, not too thin. We want to have freedom of movement, but still not feel chilly (girls know what I’m talking about 😋). Finally, a nude faux fur jacket with leather incorporated would be an excellent option, or a cropped nude aviator jacket would check all the boxes, you have my word. A cute white mini bag, and we’re good to go. Where are we going? 🤔
- Bad girl vibe

Every once in a while, I love to adopt the ‘bad girl’ aura. 😎 It makes me feel powerful and unapproachable. Personally, when I dress, I really get into character, and I have to admit, it is so much fun. Deep down, I believe each and every one of us has traits from different kinds of personalities. I like to bring mine to light through fashionable clothes.
But what exactly would “the bad girl” wear? I guess a pair of black skinny vinyl leather trousers would be the number one item to look for. They are incredibly flattering and pairing them with some black shiny high-heeled platform ankle boots would complete the look. The glossy black approach is a combination that will never go out of style. 🖤 I remember when I was younger (a lot younger 😆), I would see these types of stylish outfits on Pamela Anderson or Megan Fox, and I would be simply amazed at how good they looked. I fell in love with vinyl trousers ever since.
I would add a bit of red to this look. The mixture of black and red is so imposing and stylish. A soft red turtleneck jumper would balance the rigidity of the outfit a little. To balance it even further, a black cropped faux fur jacket would be the most appropriate choice. Besides, it’s winter, and we need to feel cosy as well (apart from looking dangerous, of course 😁). I would totally go out in this outfit. Would you? 😊
- Cute and comfy

Imagine that visit to your grandparents or a quick stop at a nearby shop. We still need to look nice, right? So, maybe call it the ‘’lazy Sunday style’’, but it’s one of the comfiest and most stylish outfits ever.
For me, a pair of wide-leg blue jeans gives me nothing to worry about. Besides, I really adore that shade of light blue during the cold season. It fills me with warmth and sweetness … exactly what the holidays are all about. 🤗 Once we have our jeans sorted, we can pair them with some comfy lace-up boots and fluffy socks. Plush materials make everything better during winter. 😋
Now comes the best part… a baby blue soft knitted jumper with a cream thick-knit cardigan on top. Whenever I wear something like that, I relive the sensation of warm hugs from the people I love, one of the most fulfilling emotions ever. 🙃
Those knitted textures worn during winter are so luxurious and glamorous, they’re like reunited soulmates. Maybe the only thing missing are some faux fur-lined gloves and a fleece long scarf, and we’d be ready for a snowball fight. Oh, how I wish it would snow this year… or next year… it’s getting pretty close now. Fingers crossed! 🤞❄
- We mean business

Some call it the smart casual style; I call it the empowering businesswoman vibe. 😌 We all have those moments when we want to feel a bit classy and maybe even intimidating. I’ve got you covered, because there is nothing classier than a faux fur-lined long brown coat during these chilly months. There’s just something about the colour brown in winter that seems exceptionally appropriate. Plus, it warms up our eyes the minute we see it in front of us. Okay, maybe I’ve started with outerwear first, but this is the central piece of the outfit. 🤎
Moving forward, I recommend an all-neutral look underneath. We can try white, off-white, or an adorable cream. A pair of skinny neutral-toned jeans with a fluffy turtleneck jumper is exactly the partner that a brown coat needs. Simple but chic. We can spice up the outfit by adding some gold accessories. A brown leather belt with a gold buckle and a few gold necklaces would be an excellent addition. ✨
Regarding the shoes, we have a few options to consider. Some leather brown high-heeled ankle boots or brown suede leather over-the-knee high heel platform boots. There are days when I prefer one and days when I prefer the other. It all depends on how we feel and what is more comfortable for us. Remember, of course, we need to look pretty and everything, but comfort plays an extremely important role as well. Pretty shouldn’t hurt. 😉
- Let’s go party!

A little party never killed nobody! 😀 We need to get our outfits sorted for New Year’s Eve, regardless of where we’re planning to celebrate. Even if I stay at home and celebrate with just my boyfriend, I still want to look glamorous. I want to welcome the new year feeling good in my skin and truly happy, celebrating the moment. Life is unpredictable and, to be frank, quite short (the older I get, the more I understand this phrase 🙂), so let’s celebrate all the things that matter. What comes next are a few outfit ideas I’d consider wearing on that special night. Maybe you’ll like them too and find some last-minute inspiration. 🤗
Let’s start with red, shall we? They say red is a lucky colour to wear on New Year’s Eve. I don’t know if that’s true, but I think it’s a marvellous choice. I’d go for a short red sequinned dress to sparkle and make an impression. I don’t usually wear sequins, but for this night, I always make an exception. I like to stand out somehow, you know? 😍
For this mini dress, I believe some red glossy stiletto shoes would be the perfect pop of spice that’s missing. I can picture myself wearing this, and I must say, I’m smiling just thinking about it. To complete the look, I might add a short black leather jacket with a faux fur collar, just to harmonise the whole spectrum of elegance ever so slightly. The final touch would be some gold statement earrings and a glossy black mini bag. The earrings would be more than enough in terms of jewellery, as the entire look is already so sparkly and eye-catching. Don’t you agree?

Another option I’d happily party in is the juicy mixture of black and pink. I’m that type of girl (sorry, woman 😅) who loves pink. I can wear it, decorate with it, or even incorporate it into my make-up routine. But I have a solution for those who aren’t really into this bold tone: blush pink. It’s a much softer, less intrusive shade, not as loud but still elegant.
A mini blush pink sequinned skirt would look stunning for New Year’s Eve. For the top, I’d go for something sequinned as well, but in a black shade to complement and unify the look perfectly. This time, instead of red glossy stilettos, let’s switch to black ones while keeping the same mini bag from earlier. One thing I’d suggest is skipping most jewellery … perhaps just a pair of small diamond earrings would be enough. Otherwise, we might risk crossing the line and making the outfit feel overly done.
The ‘’pièce de résistance’’ would be a cropped, extra-fluffy pink faux fur coat, a bold statement that would bring a sense of youthful energy and playfulness to our spirits. In the end, it doesn’t really matter what we wear. 🙂 It’s about how we feel and how ready we are to strive for improvement in the days ahead of us! As we step into the new year, let’s embrace optimism, growth, and the excitement of what’s to come. Here’s to unforgettable moments and fresh opportunities! Happy partying! 🥂
