To embrace every inch of myself and fall in love with the way I feel under the sun. There’s something about sunshine that seems to turn back the clock. It simply makes me feel younger, lighter, and wonderfully carefree. ⛱
I can happily say I’ve ticked two things off my wish list. The first is thanks to my boyfriend, who’s always ready to whisk us away to some sunny escape. Even if it’s just for a couple of days. And the second … well, I have all my affordable holiday outfits from Shein. The quality has truly surprised me, and the prices are more than reasonable. 🙃

Flattering Push-up Bikini
I’m one of those girls (or women … not quite sure these days, to be honest 😅) who loves a push-up bra, even on the beach. It makes me feel a little cheekier, a touch flirtatious, and honestly, why not? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with using all the little tricks we’ve got at our fingertips.😌 Even if it means adding a little padded help for those of us who need a bit of extra filling. 😉
I truly believe we should soak up every drop of our youthfulness while we can … stretch it out, prolong it, hold onto it. That’s what I’ve been gently training my mind to believe. Age doesn’t get to decide how old I am or how I should be living my life. Only the spirit inside me does.💖 And if that means wearing the most flattering push-up bikini while dancing barefoot on the sand, so be it. Life’s far too short not to feel good about ourselves.
So I’ve promised myself to stop waiting for ‘the right time’ and just start wearing the outfits I love. And collecting memories I’ll laugh about one day in those sun-soaked, salt-kissed moment. To be totally transparent, I do love a cheeky bikini bottom as well.👙 Maybe it’s just me, but I actually have two pairs for every bikini top I wear. One that’s a bit sturdier, solid and nicely covering … another that’s quite the opposite. I think you can already guess which one my boyfriend adores.🤭 Oh… I do love it when he looks at me with that spark in his eye.🤩 So thank you, Shein! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.
The Most Stylish Beach Cover-ups
This is one of my favourite things to shop for. It’s the anticipation of being surrounded by ocean air and seeing my cute beachwear fluttering in the breeze. While I wouldn’t say I have a particular style when it comes to beach cover-ups … I do adore anything with ruffles. I find them so flattering on freshly tanned skin. And they always seem to add a little luxurious touch, even when we’re simply sunbathing. ⛱
One thing I will say is that I don’t like to match my bikini with my cover-ups. I prefer them in different colours, different materials. Not even co-ords, to be honest. I want to escape that feeling of wearing a uniform. I want to be as lively, playful, and colourful as I can be. After all, during our summer holidays, everything is permitted. Nobody judges … or at least no one should. 😅
I genuinely believe the bolder, the better on holiday. Mini skirts, cropped tops, see-through dresses, anything in vibrant shades. Oranges, corals, fuchsia pinks, minty greens … literally everything that makes our skin glow and lifts our mood.✨ Holiday wardrobes are made for playful shades and textures. It’s a time to leave behind the beige basics of everyday life and embrace every frilly, floaty, thing our heart desires. Because if not now, when?
Glamorous Accessories to Complement our Beach Outfit
I hope I’m not the only one who feels like this … but if I don’t accessorise for my beach days, I honestly feel completely naked. It’s not even about impressing the people around me, you know? It’s about that little glimpse you catch of yourself in a mirror or a shop window, and you just fall in love with it. With yourself. 🙂
Besides, let’s be honest! Accessories never look better than when they’re paired with sun-kissed skin, salty, wavy hair, and naturally flushed cheeks. And Shein gets me here too. I only wear clip-on earrings, and trust me, they can be a bit tricky to find. Not to mention, they tend to be a little pricier as well. But on Shein, I’ve discovered the perfect pairs that I switch up on my sun-drenched days. Oh yes … I even have special pairs I only wear on the beach. I know, I’m a bit mad like that. 🤭 It just makes me happy.
Next, I love to pair my big gold earrings with a gorgeous pair of cat-eye sunglasses. I find them the most interesting shape, and honestly, I can’t stop wearing them. And of course, we can’t forget an oversized hat for those moments when we want to escape the sunshine. When we’ve had enough of wearing it, we just toss it onto our oversized beach bag. You know, the one where we keep all our girly essentials. SPF, lip balm, shimmering body oil, mini perfumes, a selfie stick … little things like that. 🙃
And to finish it all off? A pair of glamorous platform slippers. Honestly, we couldn’t look more fabulous if we tried. I have to admit … while writing this, I’m already daydreaming about my first little photo session on my next holiday. Aren’t you?
Dreamy Walks Along the Beach
This is one of those moments when I truly connect with my boyfriend. Strolling along an endless beach, maybe trying a new ice cream flavour we’ve never had before.🍦I love holding his hand tightly and simply soaking in the beauty around us. It’s in those simple, quiet moments that I feel immense gratitude and love for life. I want to relive those indescribable instants over and over again. It’s my happy place too.💖 It’s the memory I run to when my mind gets caught up in the everyday noise and stress. When life feels a little too heavy, my heart and my thoughts drift straight back there. Walking along the shore with the love of my life. 👫
What am I wearing on those dreamy promenades? Well … everything mini is my answer. A little ruffled skirt paired with a crop top and a cute pair of flip-flops. Though, truth be told, I mostly adore walking barefoot, feeling the soft, wet sand beneath my feet. I love when the water gently kisses my ankles as I take my little steps along the shore. It relaxes me in a way I honestly struggle to put into words. 🤍🤍
White is the colour I always choose for these kinds of memories. It puts me in a place of complete peace and purity, endless love and unconditional kindness. So yes … a floaty white dress, some breezy white shorts, and flattering little tops that catch the sea breeze just right. Anything that makes me feel cute and comfy.
Sunset Dinners By the Sea
It’s the time I allow myself to wear high heels. Every dinner on holiday feels like such an intimate date with my boyfriend, and I want to look as beautiful as I possibly can. I usually lean towards an all-black outfit with a pop of colour. Simply because he loves me in black, and I adore the way he looks at me when I wear it.💖 But of course, the fit still needs to be in the holiday mood. I love a sexy, fitted dress or a little mini skirt paired with a long-sleeved top … you know, to highlight that contrast. A touch of elegance with a hint of daring. 💋
As for the heels? Colourful and tall. Always. I feel like holidays are the perfect excuse to wear a bold pair of shoes. Maybe even a cheeky metallic pair. That’s what holiday nights are for … feeling fabulous and deeply in love with life. 🙂
But don’t get me wrong … I don’t always wear black. Sometimes, I go for a colourful pair of trousers and a deep V-neck crop top. Paired with gold high heels and a little gold mini bag … the perfect outfit to date my boyfriend all over again. Because isn’t that what summer nights are for? Falling in love, over and over, with the same person. And with ourselves too. 👩❤👨
Fun Disco Nights
For those nights when I want to dance my “troubles” into glitter dust, there’s nothing I love more than slipping into a colourful outfit that feels like a little rebellion against the ordinary.💃Since I adore dancing (or squeezing in a cheeky cardio session after all those holiday sweets), I’ll pair my look with vibrant platform sneakers. So they can handle every shimmy, spin, and dramatic hair toss. 😌
Picture this: denim shorts and a cropped top that teases just enough. Or maybe a flirty mini skirt with long socks that give the whole thing a youthful edge. One of my forever favourites though? Ripped jeans teamed with a colourful bra peeking through under a cropped top. It’s the kind of outfit that screams youth, excitement, and an unapologetic desire to live wildly and fully, if only for one night. 😋
