One of my favourite moments in life is packing for my holidays. I can literally visualise my outfits and the occasions I’d wear them for before I even tuck them into my luggage. It’s like a carousel of excitement and happiness, filled with anticipation for what’s to come.🙃 When I was younger, I would always pack far more than I actually needed. But as I’ve gotten older (not by choice😅), I’ve come to understand exactly what I want to wear to match my moods during a blissful holiday. And how I want to feel about myself.
Someone once asked me when I feel the most beautiful. Well … my answer couldn’t be simpler. After I’ve been sun-soaked for a while, all tanned and glowing in my favourite colourful outfits. There’s something about the sun that makes everything feel better, isn’t there? My hair feels thicker, my skin radiates, and my mind is unbelievably relaxed. And when you feel good, you look good too … that’s the magic of the sun. 🌟
So today, I thought I’d share some of my favourite affordable holiday outfits with you. The ones I always reach for, and the little styling tricks that make me feel like my best, glowy self. ✨
All White And A Pop Of Colour

Once I’ve basked in one or two days of continuous sunshine, my skin takes on that sun-kissed glow, perfectly ready to embrace the colour white.🤍 The contrast is so beautiful. Especially when the fabrics are light, airy, and made for summer days. It makes me feel idyllic, almost as though I’ve stepped into a fairy tale. It’s one of the first looks I pack when I’m getting ready for a lovely holiday.
It could be a sweet little white dress paired with some colourful trainers and a bright, cheerful mini bag. Or maybe white denim shorts with a ruffled white top and crisp white trainers. For this sort of outfit, I love adding a playful pop of colour. Perhaps through a pair of vibrant socks or a bold, peeking bra. 😋 👀
There’s something about the combination of pure white and rainbow hues that makes me feel more self-assured, inoffensive, and a little bit daring all at once. It’s amazing how, during a dreamy holiday, there’s no fashion judgement. Not that I’ve ever been one to abide by any rules🤭, but still… there’s a wonderful sort of freedom in knowing I can be as expressive and colourful as I like. 🤍 💚
Ripped Jeans To The Extreme

Ever since ripped jeans started trending, I’ve been madly in love with them. I couldn’t care less about whether they’re in style or if anyone thinks I’m too old to wear them😌 . To be fair, I don’t believe in those sorts of things, and I certainly don’t fear society’s opinions. I simply want to feel good about myself and wear whatever makes me happy. If something makes me smile when I catch my reflection in a shop window, it’s worth wearing.
On holiday, fashion feels like a personal language, not a rule book. There’s no ‘too much’, no ‘too little’. Plus, the trend of ripped jeans feels like quiet rebellion stitched into fabric. Every rip and frayed thread makes me feel a little braver, a little freer, like I’m shrugging off expectations with every step. 💋 I’d pair them with a colourful crop top with long sleeves, just to contrast the openness of the jeans. Or maybe an oversized T-shirt to make the day as comfortable as it can be.
And when it comes to shoes? I’m mostly in platform, colourful trainers on my little escapes. They’re fun, comfy, and add that perfect pop of colour. 😊 The cute high heels? Oh, they stay tucked away for dinner outfits … but don’t worry, we’ll get to those a bit later. 😉
Denim Shorts Or A Cute Mini Skirt

In the past couple of years, I’ve begun to gently lengthen my shorts and skirts, just a little 😅, but they’re still an essential part of my holiday wardrobe. There’s something magical about showing off my sun-kissed legs in a sweet mini skirt. I absolutely adore the layered minis. Especially those with delicate ruffle details (sometimes with hidden shorts underneath, just in case the summer breeze decides to play😋). It’s as if I’m preparing for the soft winds that sweep through certain corners of the world. It brings me a feeling of carefree joy and transports me right back to my twenties. 🙂 A truly nostalgic sensation, but in the most beautiful way.
The other piece I always find myself reaching for is a pair of denim shorts … in any colour, any length. I love slipping them on for a slow walk along the beach, feeling the sand cling to my ankles. Or wandering through sun-drenched streets with an ice cream melting far too quickly in the heat. They’re my little holiday ritual, my faithful companion for those carefree, easy-going moments. 🌟
I adore how they give me such freedom … freedom to move, to breathe, to chase sunsets. And I always pair them with colourful trainers or bright, playful platform flip-flops. I simply love that added height, not quite a heel but still a platform, still feminine. That gives the whole look a spark I can’t quite explain. As for the top … anything light, cropped, or with a bit of a ruffle is guaranteed a place in my holiday luggage. That’s for certain. 😉
A Dreamy Colourful Floating Dress

You know how they say we should seize every moment to romanticise our lives? Well, that’s exactly how I’d describe the sensation of slipping into a colourful, floating dress during my holidays. It makes me feel free, at ease, and adds a soft, innocent kind of charm to my personality. I can almost sense the sun warming my skin and the gentle breeze brushing against me. It’s like wearing an invisible dress, so light you barely know it’s there. That’s the kind of comfort it brings, a whole new level of expression, where clothing becomes a feeling rather than just an outfit. 🩵 🩷
Where would I wear it? Well … to romantic sunsets with my boyfriend, reminiscing about the early days of our relationship. Or perhaps for a little photo session to send to my loved ones, capturing those soft, golden moments. The best part is, I don’t have to try too hard to look good in this dress. 😊 It carries its own beauty, flattering me just as I am, no matter what shape I’m in. It’s one of those pieces that simply works, like it was made for the mood, not the mirror.
It’s definitely made for my collection of affordable holiday outfits. You’ll always find at least three tucked into my luggage. Some in soft pastel shades, others in vibrant, lively hues. The colours seem to mirror the beauty of nature around me. They blend with the green of the trees, the endless blue sky, and the shimmering turquoise water. It makes me feel like I truly belong there, part of that picture-perfect scene. So much so, I almost never want to leave.😅 And yes … it happens every single holiday. 🤭 Am I the only one? 👀
The Flirtatious Mini Dress

You know that sensation of slipping into a flirtatious mini dress that instantly lifts your spirit? It’s playful, daring, and full of life … the kind of dress that turns a simple moment into something unforgettable. I love wearing it to a romantic dinner with my boyfriend on the beach.💞 No shoes, no jewellery, just the feel of the sand under my feet, the breeze through my hair, and the dress hugging my body. It makes me feel light, yet bold and confident. I don’t need anything else. That mix of simplicity and audacity lights something up in me. It’s what drives me. ✨
On holiday, I never leave without at least one mini dress ready for date night. Sometimes I go all in … heels on, hair done, makeup just right … and dance like I’m eighteen again, like time never touched me.🙃 Other days, I slip it on for a casual afternoon walk, soaking up the sunshine and reminding myself that ”I still have it”. Whether anyone else sees it or not, I believe it. 🙂 And that’s enough. What we choose to believe about ourselves shapes everything. It’s not about seeking approval. It’s about deciding who we are and owning it. 🙂
I wear my mini dress not just to look good, but to feel good, alive, radiant, unapologetically me. And I don’t let the world’s noise reach me. I lift my chin and walk proudly. We all have that power inside us. We just need to claim it. Because we’re not here to blend in. We’re here to stand out, shine a little brighter, and live a little louder. And sometimes, it all starts with the perfect little dress. 😉
Fashionable And Vibrant Swimwear

When it comes to swimwear, I’ll admit, I probably overdo it a little. I like to have them in every possible colour, style, and fabric. Some might even say I’m a touch obsessed.😅 But honestly, there are no rules on holidays. I love changing my swimwear two or three times a day if I can, simply because it makes me happy. I think it’s the colours more than anything. They put me in different moods, like a little roller coaster of sunshine shades. 🌟
As for recommendations, I genuinely believe every woman knows what flatters her figure best. And thankfully, these days we’ve got endless options to choose from, so it’s just a matter of trial, error, and a bit of patience. It definitely was for me.👙But once you discover the shapes and cuts that suit you, you’ll find yourself wanting them in every colour under the sun. Trust me on this one. And you know what? 😊 There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sunny days, rainbow-hued swimwear, and cocktails flowing. That’s the spirit of a proper holiday. Anything else is just an extra you don’t need. It’s our time to relax, feel beautiful in our own skin, and soak up every carefree moment.
On top of this, I always feel like the perfect pair of sunglasses completes the look. They instantly make us feel effortlessly cool. And of course, they shield us from the glare of the sunshine. A cute hat is a must as well … something to give us a little shade when we need it. And suddenly, we’re all set for a long, lazy beach day. 💆🏖
Cute Chic Beachwear

I love getting ready for a beach party or a seaside picnic with my love.💞 The moment the sun starts to soften, I just pick out my favourite beachwear and slip it over my swimwear. It’s one of my favourite rituals. But I swear … every time, I feel like I’m strutting down a sunlit catwalk, right there on the soft sand.
I go for pieces that move with me. A bold sarong, a breezy sheer dress, or a playful crochet co-ord. Or whatever feels right for the occasion. The fabric sways around my legs, catching the breeze, and I instantly feel lighter, prettier, and ready for anything. Do you know a better feeling than walking barefoot and feeling the warmth of the sand? Or letting the sea air toss your hair while your outfit makes its own little statement? 🌟
Beachwear isn’t just about looking good, though it definitely helps 😀. It’s about comfort, freedom, and that delicious sensation of soft fabrics against sun-warmed skin. It’s about wearing something that lets you dance and eat and laugh. I can almost feel the water lapping at my feet as I write this. It’s incredible, isn’t it?🙂 The way words and imagination can transport us to those idyllic places. A little reminder that sometimes, the joy is as much in the anticipation as it is in the experience itself.
Wishing you the dreamiest adventures and the happiest holidays! 🙃
