I believe we have to make the most of our time spent in the kitchen. Besides, I am just happier when I prepare a meal and am surrounded by such a playful colour. It took me just a few hours to stick them, and I never had to worry about damaging my walls. A lifesaver, in my eyes!

Personally, I love having flowers all over my house, regardless of the season. While I enjoy a mix of natural and artificial flowers, I have to admit that lately, the artificial ones have taken up a lot of space. I simply can’t stop buying them all the time! 🙈 They just look so good in my home decor, not to mention how affordable and durable they are.
Imagine a nice, big bouquet of purple artificial lilies on our kitchen table. I just love lilies (they are a personal favourite, so elegant and beautiful). I suggest having more bouquets spread around our kitchen, wherever we feel they fit best. Another amazing option to implement purple (and basically a splash of happiness) into our kitchen is through lighting. This gives us the option to really play around here a little bit. We could choose a purple ceiling pendant lamp that we really like. We even have the option to add two or three of them to our room. They will definitely become the focus of our kitchen decor.
Or, we could even spice up the mood with different shades of purple in our ceiling lamps. I think it’s just up to how we’re feeling in the moment or what we want our kitchen to convey to us. Remember, no one is allowed to judge our style! 😌
- 9. Purple kitchen artwork
I feel like empty walls are too impersonal for our home. They give off a kind of cold and unimpressive vibe. That’s why I’m the type of person who would advise on having paintings in every room of our house. Don’t you think it would be such a nice touch to have a purple floral painting in our kitchen? It would warm our souls in a fraction of a second.
An alternative method (the one I currently use in my kitchen) would be to personalise our own photos on a canvas print. We can simply choose the ones that have a purple background and hold deep meaning for us. What can signify ‘home’ more than this? 🥹
Of course, we would have to be careful to match the paintings to the other purple additions in our kitchen design. Since paintings are significant pieces of decor, we need to be careful not to create visual chaos. Ensuring balance in the colour scheme will contribute to a peaceful atmosphere. And we do need peace in our kitchen! 🤭
